About NepTech

NepTech Training and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. is founded with the long-term vision of becoming Nepal's premier multi-sector National Research, Training, and Innovation Centre — a permanent institutional infrastructure that serves the entire national economy from service delivery to manufacturing, energy, agriculture, robotics, automation, and beyond.

The Centre is designed to function as a national nexus connecting over 50+ university professors, 1,000+ students, domain experts, industry practitioners, government bodies, and international research institutions in a single collaborative ecosystem. Its mandate spans hands-on skill development for school students and vocational learners, advanced professional training for engineers and technicians, applied research across emerging sectors, the incubation of nationally significant solutions in energy, agriculture, and technology.

Dedicated programs for women's economic empowerment, vocational skill development, and social upliftment are central to our mission. Inspired by internationally recognized models, the Centre follows a holistic approach — combining vocational skill training in weaving, tailoring, crafts, and digital literacy with business education, cooperative formation, and market linkages — enabling women, particularly those from marginalized, at-risk, and economically disadvantaged communities, to achieve genuine financial independence and dignity.

The objectives listed in our Memorandum of Association are deliberately broad and comprehensive — reflecting the institution's ambition to grow from a Kirtipur-based Makerspace and training centre into a nationally recognized research and empowerment institution that contributes to Nepal's self-reliance in technology, energy, food production, industrial capability, and gender equity.
